Settings and Accommodations
Camp Walden is set in 750 acres of land and private lake. We take great pride in
our camp setting and the accommodations we offer our campers. The sleeping cabins
are all spacious and well ventilated, and our dining hall is soaring and bright. Experience
the wonderful scenery of Camp Walden and understand how we accommodate our
campers by looking through some pictures now.
The Units
We divide our camp into 5 specific units based on the age of our campers so that we
can better customize our programs to the campers in them. Find out what unit your
camper is in.
The Activities
The planned activities at Camp Walden are a specialty of ours. They include land sports,
water sports, and arts and craft programs for all ages and skill levels. Our counselors
are all positive and encouraging – we want each camper to try whatever activities most
interest them. Whether they are skilled at an activity or have never tried it before, we make
sure they have a positive experience. We believe the activities aid the development
of our campers social, creative and athletic skills and our skilled instructors make
sure the learning process is fun-filled!
Health and Safety
At Camp Walden, our first priority is keeping your child safe while they have fun.
We have a health staff of four nurses and a doctor standing by at all times. All of our
counselors are knowledgeable about Walden’s emergency procedures and policies
as well as the standard first aid procedures. You can relax when sending your child to
Walden … rest assured they are well taken care of and in good hands. Click here to
